On August 16th, 2009 my baby boy turned 1!! Just like everyone says- the time flies! Well his birthday fell on a Sunday so we just had some family & friends come over for cake & ice cream (but I forgot to serve the ice cream- oops. My mind was on crazy). It was a bit crowed but hopefully still fun. I had a "Prince" theme going on, I hung up pics of Grayden all over and I made a Prince "crown" cake. (first time ever doing such a task besides helping with Cohen's dinosaur). Anyway pics & video to follow...
Cowabunga Bay & Lagoon
My lil' sis McKenzie came to stay with my grandparents at the beginning of August. We got to do some fun stuff while she was here. Most of us were able to go to Cowabunga Bay in Draper & the kiddos loved it especially Grayden. He got so mad when I took him out for a pic (2nd pic). It was a bit windy but a pretty cool place. Later in the week I was able to go to Lagoon & that new roller coaster is AwEsOmE!
BIG THX to my grandparents for all this fun!!
Naartjie Photoshoot
Grayden was lucky enough to be chosen by Peekaboo Photography to be in their Naartjie photo shoot. Here is the pic Peekaboo posted on their blog.

Grayden loved all the attention he was getting at the photo shoot! He was super happy & this pic is the first time he stood by himself. I was so nervous that he was going to fall forward bc there is a big drop off right there. Now I just need to find a catalog.

Coka Cola Factory
7.16.09
The highlight of this place is the All-You-Can-Drink Coke & Coke products from around the world. There is some disgusting stuff out there that I do not believe people drink. Another fun part was their 4D interactive movie. (I believe the 4D is some how referring to the moving chairs you sit on) Grayden wasn't to sure about the moving chairs but luckily he didn't scream & cry like other children, he just had a wide eye look the whole time. There was also a theater room where you could watch thousands of past Coke commercials. When you left the factory they gave you a glass Coke bottle for a souvenir.
