Grayden had an "Ocean" themed party! The first 2 things I knew when planing this party was that I wanted there to be bubbles & I wanted it to be age appropriate. Being that he's been under 2 he's mostly only been to family bday parties & he's always been the youngest or close to. So I wanted this party to be one where he could participate in all the activities. That being said we invited only 3 & 2 yr olds with the exception of his bestest lil' friend Payden (17ish months). Even though I tried really hard to have toddler activities, the 3 yr olds enjoyed the party the most.
The party layout went as follows:
- Bubbles!
- Go fishing for name tag & pail.
- Treasures in the sand.
- Dive for pearls.
- Eat snacks & open presents.
- Sing & have cupcakes and..
- Bubbles!
We tried...
This video is typical Grayden. He doesn't mind doing his own thing (just like his dad :). He is always running away from crowds and rarely a follower.
We can't help but laugh our heads off every time we watch it!

Bos was obsessed with Grayden's fish. He kept saying, "Get that fish outta dare!"
Teasures in the sand...
The BIG present surprise from Gma & Gpa Howells...
Yes I made this shirt. It was a last minute decision that thankfully turned out okay.
Bosten heading home with this loot. It consisted of sand treasures (shells, gold coins, silly bands, gems, etc), pearls, bubbles, ocean gummies and a real goldfish!
Thanks everyone for coming & for all the great gifts & fun you added to the party!
