My sister Heather lives in Walnut Creek which is just outside of San Fran. We weren't there very long but it was a lot of fun to see where they lived & to see my nephews & meet the newest member of our family (Hunter). We had some time to go explore the city since I've never been before. We went to Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge, & drove around the hilly streets.

2nd Stop...Carmel & The Monterey Peninsula

After staying in Arcadia a couple days T's parents needed to head north for mission work so we all went up earlier for a little vacay. Carmel is T's favorite spot in the whole world (like my Outer Banks, NC- dad next year please!!) So Carmel is known for the "17 mile drive" which is along the coast & passes some serious $$ real estate & most popular Pebble Beach golf course. For those of you who don't speak golf this course is like the Banana Republic to the Gap industry. It costs $475 per 18 holes + cart fees! I have to admit though, it is a very beautiful course.

These pics are all off of 17 mile drive. The middle pic is of some famous cyprus tree & the one above is of T & Chup. Chupie hates water & T would force her down to the tide & she would B-line it back. And yes my bump is really growing.

This one is a little blurry but it's a good one.

We also went to the Monterey Aquarium. Totally huge & awesome & I highly recommend it. Plus it's very kid friendly. They had touch pools & this whole kid "splash" section.

1st Stop... Arcadia California

Arcadia is where T's parents are serving a mission. Some of the neighborhoods here have tons of peacocks just roaming around. It's very fascinating.

We also went to this delicious cupcake store called Sprinkles. They are to die for! This place usually has a 2hr wait. Warning... one will do, they're very rich. Yumm!

Region Champs!!

Ya gotta love church basketball, especially when you win the regional championship! T & James played great & both played a major part in the win. WARNING-Husband Brag Alert... T came in at the end of the 4th quarter, shot a 3 to tie the game, later got fouled & made both shots, made another 3 and then another foul shot. Ok I know I'm a little bias but he was AWESOME!

Baby Buys~

As soon as we found out that our baby was a boy I wanted to go out & finally buy something. You wait for sooo long to find out what it's gonna be & you feel like you should be buying for it to get ready but you can't because you don't know what it is yet.

So we went to the Baby Gap. We thought the blue & brown strip would be a great first outfit. Then I thought the "leo" onesie would be fun because it shows his sign & the significance of it. After he grows out of it I want to cut it out & scrap it or frame it or maybe one day make it a quilt patch. The blue roll-up thing is a gift from my sister-in-law Jill. It's a burp cloth & 2 pacifiers. Thanks Jill that was really sweet!

It's a BOY!!

We went and had our ultra sound yesterday and found out that I'm going to be having the 6th boy! We're totally thrilled- especially T! My brother-in-law James told Tim, before we found out, that he isn't a man till he makes a man, so looks like he's a man now. Well done to the 20%- 5 people that voted boy!

19 Weeks~

Well does it look like I've doubled? It sure feels like it. The other day I went and bought the Bella Band so I can wear my pants unzipped but not expose myself. I'll tell you what that is a great invention! I'll have to post a pic of it here soon.

VivA LaS VeGas!!

T & I headed down to Vegas Wednesday night w/Natasha (Jordan came later). If you stalk her blog as well you might have read that her work was holding a seminar down there. We thought it would be fun to attend the seminar, hang out with our friends & explore Sin City all in one. We had a great time but I remembered quickly why I can only handle Vegas for a short time. A Big thanks to Tash for setting this all up!

Who is more sensitive? T comes from a way more sensitive family compared to mine (we're mean), but we've turned each other a little bit.
Who does the laundry? I insist on doing it but he does it as well.
Who does the dishes? We both take our turns.
Who sleeps on the right? If you're laying on the bed T does.
Who pays the bills? That ones me. I'm the most organized & love making excel spreadsheets.
Who mows the lawn? That is all T. He has claimed the yard.
Who cooks dinner? I work 3 nights a week right now so we don't really cook, but we take turns when we do.
Who drives when you are together? Always T, because I get tickets!
Who is more stubborn? We take turns depending on the subject.
Who kissed whom first? T kissed me.
Who asked who out first? We met on a blind date then it was me that pursued him for the 2nd meet. ("I thought you were out of my league..." he'd said)- bull crap! He was actually dating like 3 other girls at the time.

16 Weeks~

Good Friends~ Good Times

Last Saturday we all went to eat at "The Oven" aka Brick Oven. Then we headed to the Wise Guy's Hypno Hick comedy show. Always a good time with this group of friends we have.

Baby Appt #2

We had our 2nd appointment yesterday. This one was an easy one, it didn't require changing into a hospital gown:) Just a weigh-in, urine test, Q & A, and listening to the baby's heart beat (video of sound below). The most exciting was finding out that our next appt- March 24th- we get to have an ultrasound and finally find out the sex!! Yippee!!

They've Cast the Cullens!!

For all of you Twilight fans here it is!! I'm very excited about who they have cast. I think Alice is a great fit, Rosalie on the other hand- by the looks of these pictures- doesn't quite cut it for me but maybe it's just these pics. Sure can't wait till December 8th!! Valentine's Day~

I Love my Timmy!! So yesterday was v-day and T surprised me with some flowers sent to the house. I thought we weren't going to buy each other anything because I thought we decided to just save it for the baby but T pulled a fast one on me and got me something anyway. It sure was sweet of him and the flowers are just beautiful. Later we ate at Spaghetti Mama's and then got pedicures. T didn't want one thinking it was a female thing but after watching me get it done and asking the tech how many guys do this he decided to try it out. I bet he's hooked now.

PREGO!!!

Yep I'm pregnant. Due on August 16th. We are very excited along with nervous and terrified. I know what some of you are thinking- was this planned? Well a couple of months ago we decided to leave it in the Lord's hands. We were quite surprised how fast this happened (we were not quite prepared), but we love the idea of finally becoming parents and starting a family.
